This email includes important information about Open Enrollment for 2021. We encourage you to read it in its entirety.
Open Enrollment for 2021 is November 23rd – December 11th. Members will need to use our online benefits platform, Employee Navigator, to make changes during this period. If you do not wish to make any changes, no action is required. Your benefits will carry forward from 2020 to 2021.
We have several resources available to you during Open Enrollment and throughout the year:

Benefits Presentation: To view a voiced-over presentation of your benefits, scan the black QR code located on the last page of the attached Benefit Guide with your smartphone camera or use a QR code reader app
Benefit Spot app: Download the Benefit Spot app or scan the blue QR code located on the last page of the attached Benefit Guide. After launch, enter company code: TulsaFire (case sensitive) to access our plan information, call the Benefits Team directly, watch educational videos, and more.

Due to COVID we will not be at the Union Hall for in-person meetings. However, we are happy to assist with any enrollment questions via phone or email.
What’s new or changing for 2021? We are pleased to share some positive news with you – there will be no change to our benefits in 2021 and no changes to rates for Dental or Vision. Voluntary Life insurance rates are also unchanged. However, if you aged up to the next age band, your rates will increase in January.
For Medical, we have restructured the rates from 2-tier (Single / Family) to 4-tier (Member Only, Member + Spouse, Member + Children, Member + Family). We believe this restructuring will benefit the members based on their family and employment status (Active vs. Retiree). The Member Only and Member + Family rates will be unchanged from 2020. We will automatically “map” you to the appropriate Medical tier based on your (and applicable dependents) current enrollment.
To help minimize the visitors at the stations, we’ll be handling Open Enrollment for voluntary products differently this year. Enrollment for these benefits are handled outside of the online enrollment system and through the individual vendors.
AFLAC: Products include Accident, Cancer, Critical Care, Hospital Choice and Short-term Disability.
